Independent Learning Project 2

For the Independent Learning Project #2, I decided to create a Google Classroom environment.  I decided to create a Google Classroom because I remember using these in high school and they ended up being very useful.  I think it is a great way to communicate with students with updates, questions, and posts.  My favorite feature I found while using Google Classroom was when I created a due date on an assignment post, it automatically added it to the class calendar.  This way I did not have to create a separate calendar.  I also liked being able to add tabs so it made it very easy to organize my topics.  I included a tab for Blog Post Instructions, Reading Links, Videos, and Reminders.  This will allow for easy access to a certain item a user will need to use without going through the hassle of scrolling and searching through the information on the home page.  If students posted something in the classroom drive, it allows for easy access for me to be able to give feedback and also to save paper.  I enjoyed creating this classroom environment because online classroom environments are becoming more popular.  Students have access to assignments and are able to communicate with me and other students while at home and not in the actual classroom.
